The penal legislation of Moldova criminalizes the offences covered by the Geneva Conventions.

In the absence of such agreements or arrangements between the States Parties concerned, the Parties may consider this Convention to be the basis for mutual law enforcement cooperation in respect of the offences covered by this Convention.

(a) Methods used in the prevention, detection and control of the offences covered by this Convention;

However, the Committee is concerned about the lack of a comprehensive plan specifically addressing all issues covered under the Protocol and the absence of specific measures on the prevention of offences covered by the Protocol.
