"
145- في 31 آذار/مارس 2006، اعتمد برلمان جمهورية مقدونيا قانون الشؤون الخارجية الذي تنص المادة 36 منه المتعلقة بشروط وأحكام وإجراءات تعيين السفراء على ما يلي: " عند تعيين سفير، يُراعى مبدأ التمثيل العادل والمتساوي للمواطنين المنتمين إلى جميع المجموعات العرقية ومبدأ الفرص المتساوية بين الجنسين. "

(37) The Committee urges the State party to lift restrictions, release children detainees and respect the rights of children belonging to all religious denominations to exercise their right to freedom of religion.

(j) Regarding minorities, Israel intended to strengthen efforts to ensure equality in the application of the law, to counter discrimination against persons belonging to all minorities, to promote their active participation in public life, such as through additional Government resolutions to raise the percentage of the Arab minority in the civil service;

With regard to the report submitted by Ukraine, the Committee urged the State party to undertake a comprehensive study on the situation and enjoyment of rights of ethnic minorities in the State party and, on the basis of the findings, develop interventions to ensure that its policies, measures and instruments apply without discrimination and aim to protect the rights of children belonging to all minorities.
