64. All those violations and vexations were part of a deliberate policy on the part of the Moroccan authorities to suppress the aspirations of the Saharan people, who should be allowed to exercise their right to self-determination with the guarantee of the Security Council.
64 - وأضاف أن كل تلك الانتهاكات وأعمال التكدير هي جزء من سياسة متعمدة من جانب السلطات المغربية من أجل قمع تطلعات الشعب الصحراوي الذي يتعين السماح له بممارسة حقه في تقرير المصير بضمان من مجلس الأمن.

68. Fact-finding and investigations into violence should be undertaken at the earliest possible stage, including investigation of deaths and injuries and other serious violations and acts of violence against individual members of communities.
68- وينبغي تقصّي الحقائق وإجراء تحقيقات في أعمال العنف في أبكر مرحلة ممكنة، بما في ذلك التحقيق في حالات القتل والإصابات وغيرها من الانتهاكات وأعمال العنف الخطيرة المرتكبة ضد أفراد المجتمعات المحلية.

(i) The impact on children of the military operations that took place during the final phase of the conflict, in particular their recruitment and use by LTTE, as well as other violations and abuses committed against children;

15. To express deep concern about the continuing violations and abuses committed against children in Somalia by parties to the conflict and to urge the immediate implementation of all conclusions of the Working Group on Children and Armed Conflict in Somalia.
15 - الإعراب عن القلق العميق إزاء استمرار الانتهاكات وأعمال الإيذاء المرتكبة ضد الأطفال في الصومال على يد الأطراف في النزاع، والحث على القيام فورا في الصومال بتنفيذ جميع الاستنتاجات الصادرة عن الفريق العامل المعني بالأطفال والنزاع المسلح.

It describes progress made to end all violations and abuses against children, as follow-up to the recommendations contained in my previous reports (S/2007/400 and S/2008/532) and the conclusions of the Security Council Working Group on Children and Armed Conflict (S/AC.51/2007/16 and S/AC.51/2008/15).

7. The Working Group agreed to address a message, through public statements by its Chairman on behalf of the Working Group, to all stakeholders who had responsibility to cease and continue to refrain from violations and abuses committed against children in Sri Lanka:
7 - وافق الفريق العامل على توجيه رسالة إلى جميع الجهات صاحبة المصلحة المسؤولة لوقف الانتهاكات وأعمال سوء المعاملة المرتكبة ضد الأطفال في سري لانكا ومواصلة الكف عن ارتكابها، وذلك من خلال بيان عام يدلي به رئيسها باسم الفريق العام:

(e) They stressed the importance of addressing impunity for any possible violation or abuse committed against children, and of pursuing and bringing to justice perpetrators of violations and abuses committed against children, as part of wider national reconciliation;
(هـ) وشددوا على أهمية معالجة ظاهرة الإفلات من العقاب فيما يتعلق بأي انتهاك أو سوء معاملة يمكن ارتكابها ضد الأطفال وتتبُّع مرتكبي تلك الانتهاكات وأعمال سوء المعاملة ضد الأطفال ومحاكمتهم كجزء من مصالحة وطنية أوسع نطاقا؛

" In this regard the Security Council reiterates that the mechanism should continue to collect and provide timely, objective, accurate and reliable information on violations and abuses committed against children affected by armed conflict and to operate with the participation of and in cooperation with national Governments and relevant United Nations and civil society actors, including at the country level.
" وفي هذا الصدد، يكرر مجلس الأمن التأكيد على ضرورة أن تواصل الآلية جمع وتقديم معلومات موضوعية ودقيقة وموثوق بها في الوقت المناسب عن الانتهاكات وأعمال الإيذاء التي ترتكب في حق الأطفال المتضررين من النـزاعات المسلحة وأن تعمل بالاشتراك والتعاون مع الحكومات الوطنية والأطراف الفاعلة في الأمم المتحدة والمجتمع المدني، بما في ذلك على الصعيد القطري،

(a) underlines that the mechanism is to collect and provide timely, objective, accurate and reliable information on the recruitment and use of child soldiers in violation of applicable international law and on other violations and abuses committed against children affected by armed conflict, and the mechanism will report to the working group to be created in accordance with paragraph 8 of this resolution;
