" Statement of Understanding " means the Statement of Understanding adopted on 29 August 1980 by the Third United Nations Conference on the Law of the Sea and contained in Annex II to its Final Act;
يقصد بمصطلح " بيان التفاهم " بيان التفاهم الذي اعتمده مؤتمر الأمم المتحدة الثالث لقانون البحار في 29 آب/أغسطس 1980 والوارد في المرفق الثاني لوثيقته الختامية؛

One member of the Commission proposed that one item be included in the agenda relating to the need to identify a mechanism through which the Commission should seek advice on matters of interpretation of certain provisions of the Convention other than article 76, annex II to the Convention and the Statement of Understanding adopted on 29 August 1980 by the Third United Nations Conference on the Law of the Sea.
