Climate change impacts include threats to water security, flooding in lower basins, and damage to settlements, livestock populations, infrastructure, agricultural land, forests and tourists sites, as well as degradation of mountain ecosystems and loss of biodiversity, all of which have been already observed and projected to be exacerbated with climate change.
