Just under four years ago, here at Copenhagen on 28 June 1994, the then High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mr. José Ayala Lasso, delivered an appeal against torture.
وقبل أقل من أربع سنوات بقليل، وجﱠه السيد خوسيه آيالا لاسو المفوض السامي لحقوق اﻹنسان هنا في كوبنهاغن في ٢٨ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٤ نداء لمناهضة التعذيب.

The Special Representative reiterates the positive view he expressed to Radio Netherlands during the Vienna World Conference on Human Rights regarding the development and consolidation of the international system of human rights and welcomes the appointment of Mr. Ayala Lasso with particular satisfaction.
ويؤكد الممثل الخاص من جديد ما أعرب عنه ﻹذاعة هولندا أثناء مؤتمر فيينا العالمي لحقوق الانسان من وجهة نظر ايجابية بشأن تطوير وتعزيز الجهاز الدولي لحقوق الانسان، كما انه يعرب عن ارتياحه بوجه خاص لتعيين السيد آيالا لاسو.

At the opening of the session, the High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mr. José Ayala Lasso, addressed the Committee, and informed it of recent developments relevant to the protection and promotion of the rights of the child that had taken place within the framework of the General Assembly, as well as other treaty-monitoring bodies.
وفي افتتاح الدورة، ألقى المفوض السامي لشؤون حقوق اﻹنسان السيد خوسيه آيالا لاسو بيانا أمام اللجنة أحاطها فيه علما بما حدث مؤخرا من تطورات ذات صلة بحماية وتعزيز حقوق الطفل في إطار الجمعية العامة والهيئات اﻷخرى التي تقوم برصد الامتثال للمعاهدة.

13. At the invitation of the Government of Indonesia, the High Commissioner for Human Rights, H.E. José Ayala Lasso, visited Indonesia, including East Timor, from 2 to 7 December 1995.

1. The Office in Colombia was established under the Agreement signed in Geneva on 29 November 1996 by Mrs. María Emma Mejía Vélez, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Colombia, and Mr. José Ayala Lasso, the then United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.

Subsequently, the Secretary-General, in accordance with paragraph 2 (b) of General Assembly resolution 48/141, appointed Mr. José Ayala Lasso (Ecuador) as United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights for a four-year term of office beginning on 28 February 1994.
وفي أعقاب ذلك، عين اﻷمين العام، وفقا للفقرة ٢ )ب( من قرار الجمعية العامة ٤٨/١٤١، السيد خوسيه آيالا لاسو )اكوادور( كمفوض اﻷمم المتحدة السامي لحقوق اﻹنسان لفترة ولاية مدتها أربع سنوات تبدأ في ٢٨ شباط/فبراير ١٩٩٤.

At its 89th plenary meeting, on 14 February 1994, the General Assembly, pursuant to its resolution 48/141 of 20 December 1993, approved the appointment by the Secretary-General 3/ of Mr. José Ayala Lasso (Ecuador) as High Commissioner for Human Rights for a four-year term of office beginning on 28 February 1994.
في الجلسة العامة ٨٩، المعقودة في ١٤ شباط/فبراير ١٩٩٤، أقرت الجمعية العامة، عملا بقرارها ٤٨/٤١ المؤرخ ٢٠ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٣، تعيين اﻷمين العام)٣( للسيد خوزيه آيالا لاسو )اكوادور( كمفوض سام لحقوق اﻹنسان لمدة أربع سنوات اعتبارا من ٢٨ شباط/فبراير ١٩٩٤.
