(b) The personal engagement of the SecretaryGeneral with the situation in Myanmar and his statement of 17 August 2004, in which he calls upon the Government of Myanmar to release Daw Aung San Suu Kyi immediately and to engage in substantive dialogue with the National League for Democracy and other political parties;
(ب) الاهتمام الشخصي الذي يبديه الأمين العام بالحالة في ميانمار والبيان الذي أدلى به في 17 آب/أغسطس 2004 والذي أهاب فيه بحكومة ميانمار الإفراج عن داو أونغ سان سو كيي على الفور والدخول في حوار جوهري مع الرابطة الوطنية من أجل الديمقراطية وغيرها من الأحزاب السياسية؛

(v) Support the work of the Human Rights Commission, the National Electoral Commission, the Political Parties Registration Commission, the National Commission for Democracy and other national institutions;

(e) The continuing restrictions placed on the National League for Democracy and other political parties which prevented them from participating in the recently reconvened National Convention;
(ه) استمرار القيود المفروضة على الرابطة الوطنية من أجل الديمقراطية وغيرها من الأحزاب السياسية والتي منعتها من المشاركة في المؤتمر الوطني الذي عُقد مؤخراً؛

(d) To cease the ongoing harassment of the National League for Democracy and other political parties and allow the reopening of the offices of the National League for Democracy throughout the country;

(ج) استمرار القيود المفروضة على أنشطة الرابطة الوطنية من أجل الديمقراطية وغيرها من الأحزاب السياسية، والمضايقة المستمرة لأعضائها ولأشخاص ينتمون إلى قوميات عرقية ولزعماء الطلاب، بما في ذلك تمديد فترة الإقامة الجبرية للأمينة العامة للرابطة الوطنية من أجل الديمقراطية، أونغ سان سو كي، ونائبها، تين أو؛

(f) To ensure immediately safe and unhindered access to all parts of Myanmar for the United Nations and international humanitarian organizations and to cooperate fully with all sectors of society, especially with the National League for Democracy and other relevant political, ethnic and communitybased groups, to ensure the provision of humanitarian assistance and to guarantee that it actually reaches the most vulnerable groups of the population;
(و) أن تكفل فوراً دخول منظمات الأمم المتحدة والمنظمات الإنسانية الدولية بشكل آمن ودون معوقات إلى جميع مناطق ميانمار، وأن تتعاون تعاوناً تاماً مع جميع شرائح المجتمع،, وخاصة مع الرابطة الوطنية من أجل الديمقراطية وغيرها من المجموعات السياسية والعرقية والمجتمعية ذات الصلة، من أجل توفير المساعدة الإنسانية وضمان وصولها بالفعل إلى أضعف فئات السكان؛

(f) To ensure immediately safe and unhindered access to all parts of Myanmar for the United Nations and international humanitarian organizations and to cooperate fully with all sectors of society, especially with the National League for Democracy and other relevant political, ethnic and communitybased groups, to ensure the provision of humanitarian assistance and to guarantee that it actually reaches the most vulnerable groups of the population;
