The Confederation supported UNOCA in organizing a football match for Peace and Security in Central Africa as part of the activities to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of the United Nations Standing Advisory Committee on Security Questions in Central Africa, which are described below.

This sporting event, entitled " Match for Peace and Security in Central Africa " , was organized by UNOCA and the African Football Confederation, with assistance from the Government of the Congo, which had hosted the thirty-fifth ministerial meeting and the commemoration of the twentieth anniversary of the Committee.
