the Ministers took note of the Secretary-General's initiative regarding the review of international civilian capacities, in support of national capacities for post-conflict peacebuilding, and took note that efforts to broaden and deepen the pool of experts, giving particular attention to mobilizing capacities from developing countries, in particular among women, are vital for successful United Nations peacebuilding endeavors.

the Ministers took note with satisfaction of the efforts being made by Guyana and Venezuela towards the maintenance of good relations between the two countries and expressed the hope that the Good Offices process of the United Nations' Secretary General within the framework of the Geneva Agreement of 1966, to which both States remain firmly committed, would soon be resuscitated, with a view to finding a peaceful settlement of the controversy.
242 - أحاط الوزراء علماً مع الارتياح بالجهود التي تبذلها غيانا وفنزويلا نحو الحفاظ على علاقات جيدة بين البلدين وأعربوا عن أملهم بأن يعاد عما قريب إحياء عملية المساعي الحميدة للأمين العام للأمم المتحدة في إطار اتفاق جنيف لعام 1966، الذي لا تزال كلتا الدولتين ملتزمتين به، وذلك بغية إيجاد حل سلمي للخلاف.

419. the Ministers noted that the Republic of Guyana and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela remain committed to the good offices process of the United Nations Secretary General, under the Geneva agreement of 17 February 1966, in order to reach a peaceful and mutually satisfactory solution.
419- أحاط الوزراء علماً بأن جمهورية غيانا وجمهورية فنزويلا البوليفارية تواصلان الالتزام بعملية المساعي الحميدة التي يبذلها الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة بموجب اتفاق جنيف المؤرخ 17 شباط/فبراير 1966 من أجل التوصُّل إلى حلٍ سلميٍ يرضي الطرفين.

the Ministers noted the resolve of the Durban Review Conference to, as stipulated in art. 20 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, fully and effectively prohibit any advocacy of national, racial, or religious hatred that constitutes incitement to discrimination, hostility or violence and implement it through all necessary legislative, policy and judicial measures.
