55. Under Category I of the Working Group’s methods of work, deprivation of liberty is considered arbitrary when it is impossible to invoke any legal basis justifying the deprivation of liberty.
54- يعتبر الحرمان من الحرية في أساليب عمل الفريق العامل في إطار الفئة الأولى تعسفياً عندما يتعذر الاستناد إلى أي أساس قانوني لتبرير الحرمان من الحرية.

(a) When it is clearly impossible to invoke any legal basis justifying the deprivation of liberty;
(أ) إذا اتضحت استمالة الاحتجاج بأي أساس قانوني لتبرير الحرمان من الحرية؛

(a) When it is clearly impossible to invoke any legal basis justifying the deprivation of liberty (as when a person is kept in detention after the completion of his or her sentence or despite an amnesty law applicable to the detainee) (category I);
(أ) إذا اتضحت استحالة الاحتجاج بأي أساس قانوني لتبرير الحرمان من الحرية (مثل إبقاء الشخص قيد الاحتجاز بعد قضاء مدة عقوبته أو رغم صدور قانون عفو ينطبق عليه) (الفئة الأولى)؛
