ويتناول منشور برنامج البيئة المعنون " بحيرات أفريقيا: أطلس بيئتنا المتغيرة " مسائل أكثر تحديدا في مجال التغير البيئي في أفريقيا ويقدّم عرضا عاما لمواقع موارد مياه البحيرات في أفريقيا وتأثير أنشطة الإنسان عليها.

To continue to support the use of, and to update as appropriate, the publication Africa: Atlas of Our Changing Environment, and the underlying data, as a tool for policy decision-making, and to assist countries in developing capacities to produce their own national atlases;
