In that regard, his delegation believed that it would be useful to coordinate the work on the draft Code of Crimes against the Peace and Security of Mankind, particularly the list of international crimes, and the work of the international criminal court to ensure harmony between the Code and the draft statute and thus avoid unnecessary duplication.

وبصدد مسألة النفقات ذات الصلة باﻷنشطة الاعلامية التي تضطلع بها قوة اﻷمم المتحدة للحماية، وعلى وجه التحديد إنشاء محطة إذاعة تزيد تكلفتها عن ٦ مليون دولار، أعرب عن اعتقاد وفده بأن شركات وسائل الاعلام الخاصة تغطي أنشطة قوة اﻷمم المتحدة للحماية تغطية كافية ومن المفضل صرف هذه اﻷموال في مجالات أخرى في الميدان.

29. Mr. BIRENBAUM (United States of America) said that his delegation believed that the presence of MICIVIH and MINUGUA was crucial, not only for Haiti and Guatemala, but for the United Nations as well.
