2. The emoluments of members of the Court have been reviewed by the General Assembly periodically since 1976.

At the same time, the adoption by the Security Council of article 13, paragraph 4, of the statute of the International Tribunal leaves little flexibility: the conditions of service shall be those of the members of the International Court of Justice.
