وقد أشار تقرير الأمين العام بشأن أعمال الانتقام إلى أنه تم تلقي معلومات عن أعمال ترهيب أو انتقام عقب التعاون مع أجهزة الأمم المتحدة لحقوق الإنسان بما في ذلك اللجان التعاهدية لحقوق الإنسان.

It shall ensure in particular that persons suspected of having committed an offence of enforced disappearance are not in a position to influence the progress of an investigation by means of pressure or acts of intimidation or reprisal aimed at the complainant, witnesses, relatives of the disappeared person or their defence counsel, or at persons participating in the investigation.
وتتأكد بوجه خاص من أنه ليس بوسع المتهمين بارتكاب جريمة الاختفاء القسري التأثير على مجرى التحقيق بممارسة ضغوط أو بتنفيذ أعمال ترهيب أو انتقام على الشاكي أو الشهود أو أقارب الشخص المختفي والمدافعين عنهم فضلاً عن المشتركين في التحقيق.

5. Demands that all parties in Somalia refrain from any acts of intimidation or violence against personnel engaged in humanitarian or peace-keeping work in the country;
٥ - يطالب جميع اﻷطراف في الصومال بالامتناع عن القيام بأية أعمال ترهيب أو عنف ضد اﻷفراد الذين يشتركون في اﻷعمال اﻹنسانية أو أعمال حفظ السلم في البلد؛

6. Emphasizes the responsibility of the parties and others concerned in the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the security and safety of UNPROFOR and in this context demands that all parties and others concerned refrain from any acts of intimidation or violence against UNPROFOR;
٦ - يشدد على مسؤولية اﻷطراف والجهات المعنية اﻷخرى في جمهورية كرواتيا، وجمهورية البوسنة والهرسك، عن أمن وسلامة قوة اﻷمم المتحدة للحماية ويطالب في هذا السياق جميع اﻷطراف والجهات المعنية اﻷخرى بالامتناع عن اتخاذ أي أعمال ترهيب أو عنف ضد قوة اﻷمم المتحدة للحماية؛

21. It is imperative that States adopt the measures necessary to secure the right of indigenous peoples and individuals to peacefully express opposition to extractive projects, as well as to express themselves on other matters, free from any acts of intimidation or violence, or from any form of reprisals.
21- ويتعين على الدول أن تتخذ التدابير اللازمة لكفالة حق الشعوب الأصلية وأفرادها في الاعتراض سلمياً على إقامة المشاريع الاستخراجية، فضلاً عن التعبير عن رأيها بشأن مسائل أخرى، دون التعرض لأي أعمال ترهيب أو عنف، أو لأي شكل من أشكال الانتقام.

(b) To fulfil the duty to end impunity for any such acts of intimidation or reprisals by bringing the perpetrators to justice and by providing an effective remedy for their victims;
(ب) تفي بواجب إنهاء الإفلات من العقاب على أي أعمال ترهيب أو أعمال انتقامية من هذا النوع بتقديم مرتكبيها إلى العدالة وتوفير سبل انتصاف فعالة لضحاياهم؛

(a) Take the necessary steps to guarantee the safety and physical integrity of human rights defenders and journalists by protecting them against any acts of intimidation or violence that they may face in the course of their activities;
(أ) اتخاذ الخطوات اللازمة لضمان أمن الصحفيين والمدافعين عن حقوق الإنسان وسلامتهم الجسدية من خلال حمايتهم من أي أعمال ترهيب أو أعمال عنف قد يتعرضون لها أثناء مزاولة نشاطهم؛
