4. The establishment of military bases, installations and fortifications, the testing of any type of weapons and the conduct of military manoeuvres on the Moon shall be forbidden. The use of military personnel for scientific research or for any other peaceful purposes shall not be prohibited.
4- يحظر إنشاء قواعد ومنشآت وتحصينات عسكرية، وتجريب أيِّ نوع من الأسلحة وإجراء مناورات عسكرية على القمر، ولا يحظر استخدام العسكريين لأغراض البحث العلمي أو لأية أغراض سلمية أخرى.

10- وتنص المادة 3(4) على أنه " يُحظر إنشاء قواعد ومنشآت وتحصينات عسكرية، وتجريب أي نوع من الأسلحة وإجراء مناورات عسكرية على القمر، ولا يحظر استخدام العسكريين لأغراض البحث العلمي أو لأية أغراض سلمية أخرى.
