Regarding instances in customary laws where women are marginalized, the delegation reported that the Constitution provided for ownership of land by women regardless of their marital status.
وبخصوص حالات في القانون العرفي تتعرض فيها المرأة للتهميش، أفاد الوفد بأن الدستور ينص على ملكية المرأة للأراضي بصرف النظر عن حالتها الزوجية.

266. Turning to the issue of standing invitation to human rights special procedures, the delegation indicated that requests for an invitation by special procedures were considered on a case-by-case basis.
266- أما فيما يتعلق بتوجيه دعوة دائمة إلى الإجراءات الخاصة لحقوق الإنسان، فقد أفاد الوفد بأن طلبات تلقي دعوات من الإجراءات الخاصة تُفحص كل طلب على حدة.

270. Regarding national service, underage military conscription and torture, the delegation indicated that these recommendations did not enjoy the support of Eritrea.
270- وبخصوص مسائل الخدمة الوطنية والتعذيب والتجنيد قبل السن الدنيا، أفاد الوفد بأن هذه التوصيات لم تحظَ بتأييد إريتريا.

The Swiss Government had mandated the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs to consider the creation of a national human rights institution in 2003 and, as the delegation had reported earlier, the final decision had now been postponed for five more years.
وكانت الحكومة السويسرية قد فوضت وزارة الخارجية بالنظر في إنشاء مؤسسة وطنية لحقوق الإنسان في عام 2003، وحسبما أفاد الوفد في وقت سابق، تم حالياً تأجيل القرار النهائي لمدة خمس سنوات أخرى.
