When a single arbitration involves more than two parties (multi-party arbitration), proceedings can be more complicated to manage and rules of various arbitration institutions have been amended so as to accommodate multi-party arbitration. Amendments to the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules could be considered to address that situation.
