وإذا نشأ تعادل في النتائج بين أكثر من مرشحين اثنين يخفض العدد بالقرعة إلى أثنين ثم يتواصل الاقتراع الذي يقتصر عليهما وفقاً للإجراء المبين في الفقرة 1.

وينشد من مشروع التعديل كفالة أن يتصدر قائمة المرشحين مرشح من كل من الجنسين وإن تضمنت القائمة أكثر من مرشحين اثنين لا بد أن يشكل كل من الجنسين 30 في المائة على الأقل من المرشحين على أن يستوفى شرط وجود مرشح واحد على الأقل من الجنس الآخر بين كل ثلاثة مرشحين يتلون المرشحين الأول والثاني على قائمة المرشحين.
