9 - تشجع مجلس أمناء المعهد على مواصلة جهوده لإيجاد حل للحالة المالية الحرجة للمعهد، ولا سيما من أجل توسيع قاعدة الجهات المانحة وزيادة المساهمات في الصندوق العام؛

8. Encourages the Board of Trustees to consider diversifying further the venues of the events organized by the Institute and to include the cities hosting regional commissions, in order to promote greater participation and reduce costs;
8 - تشجع مجلس أمناء المعهد على أن ينظر في مواصلة تنويع أماكن عقد المناسبات التي ينظمها المعهد وأن تشمل تلك الأماكن المدن التي تستضيف اللجان الإقليمية، بغية تشجيع قدر أكبر من المشاركة والحد من التكاليف؛

24. The report recommended that action should be taken to raise the visibility of INSTRAW, to strengthen its fund-raising function, and to urge the Board of Trustees of the Institute to take a more active role in fund-raising at the regional level.
٢٤ - وذكر أن التقرير يوصي بضرورة اتخاذ اﻹجراءات اللازمة لزيادة التعريف بالمعهد وتعزيز وظيفته في جمع اﻷموال، وحث مجلس أمناء المعهد على القيام بدور أكثر نشاطاً في عملية جمع اﻷموال على الصعيد اﻹقليمي.

The Assembly encouraged the Board of Trustees of the Institute to continue its efforts to resolve the critical situation of the Institute and renewed its appeal to all Governments, in particular those of developed countries, to give the Institute their generous financial and other support.
وقد شجعت الجمعية العامة مجلس أمناء المعهد على مواصلة جهوده لحسم حالة المعهد الحرجة وجددت نداءها إلى جميع الحكومات، ولا سيما حكومات البلدان المتقدمة النمو، أن تقدم إلى المعهد دعمها المالي وغيره من أشكال الدعم بسخاء.
