1. I fully concur with the decision by the Human Rights Committee finding violations of article 6, paragraph 1, and article 10, paragraph 1, of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights in the case of Anura Weerawansa v. Sri Lanka, communication No. 1406/2005.
1- أتفق تماماً مع قرار اللجنة المعنية بحقوق الإنسان الذي خلص إلى حدوث انتهاكات للفقرة 1 من المادة 6 والفقرة 1 من المادة 10 من العهد الدولي الخاص بالحقوق المدنية والسياسية في قضية أنورا ويراوانسا ضد سري لانكا، البلاغ رقم 1406/2005.

The author's counsel indicated that he had addressed further correspondence on 29 June 2013 to the State party's President, in which he sought the release of Mr. Anura Weerawansa by commuting his sentence to the period of 10 years' imprisonment, which he has already served.
أشار محامي صاحب البلاغ إلى أنه وجه رسالة أخرى بتاريخ 29 حزيران/يونيه 2013 إلى رئيس الدولة الطرف، يلتمس فيها الإفراج عن السيد أنورا ويراوانزا بتخفيف الحكم عليه إلى عشر سنوات قضاها فعلاً.

The Minister of Environment for Sri Lanka, Mr. Anura Priyadarshana Yapa, delivered the opening remarks and outlined the role played by the communication of a large amount of precise and detailed data pertaining to greenhouse gas inventories by Parties, which must be transparent, accurate, complete, consistent and comparable.
