6. The point was made by some delegations that the Guide to Practice should not depart from the provisions of the Vienna Conventions, and it was also stressed that the various guidelines should be supported by sufficient practice.

11. Concerning the topic of reservations to treaties, his delegation considered that the Guide to practice would be useful in informing States and international organizations of existing provisions.
