I would like to place on record that my delegation rejects those baseless allegations and distortions and also stresses that this is yet another preposterous and indeed well-worn practice by this regime to distract the international community's attention from its criminal policies and abhorrent atrocities in Palestine and elsewhere in the region.

Before concluding, I would like to reassert that any reform process should be full, complete and unanimous. I would also like to reassert that my delegation will cooperate with you, Mr. President, and will contribute in a positive way to the work of the Working Group.
وقبل أن أنهي هذا البيان، لا بد لي من التأكيد على أن أي عملية إصلاح يجب أن تأتي كصفقة شاملة، وتحظى بالتوافق العام، مؤكدا على أن وفد بلادي سيساهم بإيجابية في أعمال الفريق وبالتعاون التام معكم يا سيدي الرئيس.

I wish to specify, with regard to transparency, that my delegation has repeatedly suggested keeping the public in our countries regularly and objectively informed of the progress of our debates, so that the complexity of this exercise will be very clear and no hasty conclusions will be encouraged or drawn.
وفيما يتعلق بالشفافية، أود أن أذكر على وجه الخصوص أن وفد بلادي قد اقترح مرارا وتكرارا إطلاع الجمهور في بلداننا بصفة منتظمة وموضوعية على تقدم مناقشاتنا لكي يتضح بجلاء مدى تعقد هذه العملية ولكي لا يجري التوصل الى نتائج متسرعة أو تشجيعها.

This Assembly might recall that my delegation and the co-sponsors of the draft resolution at the time agreed not to insist on action being taken then and for the Assembly to defer consideration of the matter in order to allow for more time for wider and deeper consultations.
وقد تتذكر هذه الجمعية أن وفد بلادي والمشاركين في تقديم مشروع القرار قد اتفقوا آنذاك على عدم الإصرار على اتخاذ إجراء في ذلك الحين وأن تؤجل الجمعية النظر في الأمر بغية إتاحة المزيد من الوقت لإجراء مشاورات أوسع وأعمق.
