1.1 The author of the communications is Mrs. Saida Musaeva, an Uzbek national born in 1944. She claims that her son, Mr. Erkin Musaev, an Uzbek national born in 1967, currently serving a 20-year prison term in Uzbekistan, is a victim of violation by Uzbekistan of his rights under articles 7; 9, paragraph 3; 11; 14, paragraphs 1, 3 (b), (d), (e), and (g), and 5; and 15, of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
