We call upon Ukraine to conclude as soon as possible a full-scope safeguards agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) according to article 3 of the NPT.
ونحن ندعو أوكرانيا الى أن تبرم بأسرع ما يمكن اتفاقا شاملا للضمانات مع الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية، وفقا للمادة ٣ من معاهدة عدم الانتشار.

The adoption by Ukraine of the Act on Environmental Protection in 1991, along with special provisions in the Penal Code establishing liability for the preparation, processing or selling of radiation-contaminated foodstuffs or other products and their accession to the nuclear non-proliferation treaties are also a welcome development.
كما أن اعتماد أوكرانيا لقانون حماية البيئة في ١٩٩١، وما رافقه من وضع أحكامٍ خاصة في القانون الجنائي تحدد المسؤولية عن إعداد أو تجهيز أو بيع المواد الغذائية أو المنتجات اﻷخرى الملوثة بالاشعاع، وانضمام أوكرانيا الى معاهدات حظر انتشار اﻷسلحة النووية، هي أيضا من التطورات التي تلقى الترحيب.
