1. The theft or extortion of firearms, firearm spare parts, ammunition, explosives or explosive devices shall be punishable by imprisonment for 3 to 8 years.
1 - يعاقب على سرقة أو ابتزاز الأسلحة النارية، أو قطع غيار الأسلحة النارية أو الذخائر أو المتفجرات أو الأجهزة المتفجرة بالسجن لمدة تتراوح بين 3 و 8 سنوات؛

Article 248 (Theft or extortion of radioactive material) provides that:

" 1. Theft or extortion of radioactive material shall be punishable by a fine of 700 to 1,000 times the monthly accounting index or 5 to 10 months' wages, or by deprivation of liberty for up to 5 years.
" 1 - يعاقب على سرقة أو ابتزاز مواد مشعة بغرامة تتراوح قيمتها ما بين 700 و 000 1 مثل المؤشر المحاسبي الشهري، أو ما بين 5 و 10 أمثال الأجر الشهري، أو بالحرمان من الحرية لمدة تصل إلى 5 سنوات.

1. The theft or extortion of radioactive or nuclear materials shall be punishable by deprivation of liberty for terms of between two and seven years, with or without the confiscation of property.
1 - يعاقب على سرقة أو ابتزاز المواد المشعة أو النووية بالحرمان من الحرية لمدة تتراوح بين سنتين وسبع سنوات مع مصادرة الممتلكات أو دونها.

3. The theft or extortion of radioactive or nuclear materials, committed with the use or threat of violence that endangered life or health, or by an organized group or criminal association, shall be punishable by deprivation of liberty for terms of between six and fifteen years, with or without the confiscation of property.
3 - ويعاقب على سرقة أو ابتزاز المواد المشعة أو النووية مع استخدام العنف أو التهديد باستخدامه مع تعرض الحياة أو الصحة للخطر، أو من قبل جماعة منظمة أو عصابة إجرامية، بالحرمان من الحرية لمدة تتراوح بين ست سنوات وخمس عشرة سنة، مع مصادرة الممتلكات أو دونها.

The legal basis for carrying out the operational investigative activities in this area are articles 247-249 and 255 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan (the second, third and fourth parts relating to the theft or extortion of weapons of mass destruction as well as materials or equipment which may be used to create weapons of mass destruction).

2. The theft or extortion of nuclear, chemical or other weapons of mass destruction, and likewise of materiel or equipment which may be used in the manufacture of weapons of mass destruction, shall be punishable by deprivation of liberty for a period of between five and ten years. "
2 - يعاقب على سرقة أو ابتزاز الأسلحة النووية أو الكيميائية أو غيرها من أسلحة الدمار الشامل الأخرى، وكذلك سرقة أو ابتزاز الأعتدة أو المعدات التي قد تستخدم لتصنيع أسلحة الدمار الشامل، بالسجن فترة تتراوح بين خمس وعشر سنوات " .

(c) " Illicitly acquired assets " shall mean assets or property that are acquired by, through or on behalf of a public official through misappropriation, theft or embezzlement of public funds or the unlawful conversion of state property or through acts of bribery or extortion committed by a public official and shall include other property into which such assets have been transformed or converted;,
(ج) يقصد بتعبير " الموجودات المكتسبة بصورة غير مشروعة " الموجودات أو الممتلكات التي تكتسب من جانب موظف عمومي أو عن طريقه أو نيابة عنه بواسطة تبديد الأموال العمومية أو سرقتها أو اختلاسها أو التبديل غير المشروع لممتلكات الدولة أو بواسطة أفعال رشوة أو ابتزاز يرتكبها موظف عمومي، وهو يشمل الممتلكات الأخرى التي حُولت إليها تلك الموجودات أو بُدلت بها؛()،()
