The parent(s) or others responsible for the child have the primary responsibility to secure, within their abilities and financial capacities, the conditions of living necessary for the child's development.
ويحتمل الوالدان أو أحدهما أو اﻷشخاص اﻵخرون المسؤولون عن الطفل، المسؤولية اﻷساسية عن القيام، في حدود إمكانياتهم المالية وقدراتهم، بتأمين ظروف المعيشة اللازمة لنمو الطفل.

2- إذا لم يكن أولئك المترجمون الشفويون أو الأشخاص الآخرون ذوو الكفاءة الخاصة قد أقسموا فعلاً يمين الولاء للأمم المتحدة، يُطلب منهم أن يتعهدوا رسمياً بأنهم سيضطلعون بمهامهم بشرف وأمانة وحياد.

Where such interpreters or other persons of special competence are not bound by the oath of allegiance to the United Nations, they shall be required to declare solemnly that they will perform their duties honestly, faithfully and impartially, and that they will respect the confidentiality of the proceedings.
2 - إذا لم يكن أولئك المترجمون الشفويون أو الأشخاص الآخرون ذوو الكفاءة الخاصة قد أقسموا فعلا يمين الولاء للأمم المتحدة، يطلب منهم أن يعلنوا رسميا أنهم سيضطلعون بمهامهم بنزاهة وإخلاص وعدم تحيُّز وأنهم سيحترمون الطابع السري للإجراءات.

(f) The parents or guardians or other persons having the care of the child or young person are unwilling or unable to care for the child or young person; "
(و) كان الآباء أو الأوصياء أو الأشخاص الآخرون الذين تعهد إليهم مسؤولية رعاية الطفل أو الناشئ غير مستعدين أو غير قادرين على رعاية الطفل أو الناشئ؛ " .

(b) The parents of the juvenile or others who are responsible for the care and upbringing of the young person must be informed of the situation and be summoned to police questioning of the juvenile.
)ب( يجب أن يُبلغ والدا الحدث أو اﻷشخاص اﻵخرون المسؤولون عن رعايته وتربيته بالحالة، وأن يوعز إليهم بالقدوم إلى مركز الشرطة لحضور استجواب الحدث.
