6- يؤكد على أن ضمان ممارسة حق الشعوب في السلم وتعزيزه يتطلبان توجيه سياسات الدول نحو القضاء على خطر نشوب الحرب، وخاصة الحرب النووية، ونبذ استعمال القوة أو التهديد باستعمالها في العلاقات الدولية، وتسوية النزاعات الدولية بالوسائل السلمية على أساس ميثاق الأمم المتحدة؛

فهي تنادي بتسوية المنازعات بالوسائل السلمية، وتعارض استعمال القوة أو التهديد باستعمالها في العلاقات الدولية.

56- وقيل إنه ينبغي للجنة أن تدعم الدول حتى تصبح أفضل استعدادا للتوصل إلى اتفاق جماعي على الشروط المعقولة، والمشروعة من حيث القانون الدولي، لاستخدام الفضاء الخارجي حفاظا على الأمن الوطني تكون قائمة على أساس مبدأ عدم استخدام القوة أو التهديد باستعمالها في الفضاء الخارجي.
