1. Each Party shall not allow the use of mercury or mercury compounds in the manufacturing processes listed in Annex D except in accordance with an [acceptable-use orallowable-use exemption listed in that annex for which the Party is registered as provided in Article 8.
1 - لا يجوز لأي طرف أن يسمح باستخدام الزئبق أو مركَبات الزئبق في عمليات التصنيع المدرجة في المرفق دال إلاّ وفقاً لإعفاء من أجل استخدام [مقبول أو] مسموح به مُدرَج في ذلك المرفق يكون الطرف مسجلاً لأجله على النحو المنصوص عليه في المادة 8.

1. Each Party shall not allow the use of mercury or mercury compounds in any manufacturing processes except in accordance with an allowable-use exemption listed in Annex D for which the Party is registered as provided in Article 8.
1 - لا يجوز أن يسمح كل طرف باستخدام الزئبق أو مركَبات الزئبق في أي عمليات تصنيع إلاّ وفقاً لإعفاء من أجل استخدام مسموح به مُدرَج في المرفق دال يكون الطرف مسجلاً لأجله على النحو المنصوص عليه في المادة 8.

2. Each Party shall not allow the [intentional use of mercury or mercury compounds in any other manufacturing process in which mercury or mercury compounds were not used in the territory of the Party as at the date of entry into force of this Convention for it] [introduction of new manufacturing processes in which mercury or mercury compounds are intentionally used].
2 - لا يجوز أن يسمح كل طرف [باستخدام الزئبق أو مركَبات الزئبق عمداً في أي عملية تصنيع أخرى لم يكن يُستخدم فيها الزئبق أو مركَبات الزئبق في أراضي الطرف في تاريخ بدء نفاذ هذه الاتفاقية بالنسبة له] [بإدخال عمليات تصنيع جديدة يُستخدم فيها الزئبق أو مركَبات الزئبق عمداً].

(a) An inventory of the number and types of facilities that use mercury or mercury compounds in the manufacturing processes listed in Part I, including estimates of the amount of mercury that they consume annually;
(أ) قائمة حصر لعدد وأنواع المرافق التي تستخدم الزئبق أو مركَبات الزئبق في عمليات التصنيع المدرجة في الجزء الأول، بما في ذلك تقديرات كمية الزئبق التي تستهلكها سنوياً؛

2. Each Party shall not allow the use of mercury or mercury compounds in the manufacturing processes listed in Annex D after the phase-out date specified in that Annex for the individual processes, except where the Party has a registered exemption pursuant to Article 8.
2 - على كل طرف ألا يسمح باستخدام الزئبق أو مركَبات الزئبق في عمليات التصنيع المدرجة في المرفق دال بعد تاريخ التخلص التدريجي المحدد في ذلك المرفق للعمليات الفردية، إلاّ إذا كان لدى الطرف إعفاء مسجل عملاً بالفقرة 8.

1. Each Party shall permit the use of elemental mercury or mercury compounds in the manufacturing processes listed in Annex D to this Convention for which a transition period is needed only in order to allow countries, particularly developing countries and countries with economies in transition, to phase out such processes based on their social and economic circumstances.
1 - لا يجوز أن يسمح كل طرف باستخدام الزئبق الأولي أو مركَبات الزئبق في عمليات التصنيع المدرجة في المرفق دال لهذه الاتفاقية التي تلزم لها فترة تحول إلاّ لتمكين البلدان، لا سيما البلدان النامية والبلدان التي تمر اقتصاداتها بمرحلة انتقال، من الإنهاء التدريجي لهذه العمليات استناداً إلى ظروفها الاجتماعية والاقتصادية.
