2. The United Nations Observer Mission Uganda-Rwanda (UNOMUR) was established by the Security Council in its resolution 846 (1993) of 22 June 1993, its mandate being to verify that no military assistance reached Rwanda.
٢ - وكان مجلس اﻷمن قد أنشأ، بقراره ٨٤٦ )١٩٩٣( المؤرخ ٢٢ حزيران/يونيه ١٩٩٣، بعثة مراقبي اﻷمم المتحدة في أوغندا - رواندا، التي تتمثل ولايتها في التحقق من عدم وصول أي مساعدة عسكرية إلى رواندا.

In paragraph 15 of the same resolution, the Council outlines measures that States should take to prevent the supply of arms or other military assistance to any entity or individual other than those authorized by the Government of Lebanon or the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon.

394. The Security Council, in its resolution 846 (1993), taking note of the requests of the Governments of Rwanda and Uganda for the deployment of United Nations observers along their common border as a temporary confidence-building measure, decided to establish the United Nations Observer Mission Uganda-Rwanda (UNOMUR), with the task of verifying that no military assistance is provided across the border between the two countries.
٣٩٤ - وإذ أحاط مجلس اﻷمن علما، في قراره ٨٤٦ )١٩٩٣(، بطلبات حكومتي رواندا وأوغندا وزع مراقبين من اﻷمم المتحدة على طول الحدود المشتركة بينهما كتدبير مؤقت لبناء الثقة، قرر إنشاء بعثة مراقبي اﻷمم المتحدة في أوغندا ورواندا، وأناط بها مهمة التحقق من عدم تقديم أي مساعدة عسكرية عبر الحدود بين البلدين.
