(ب) أن توافق الدول الأطراف على الشروع في مفاوضات متعددة الأطراف تُفضي إلى إبرام اتفاقية للأسلحة النووية وتدعو الدول التي لم تنضم بعد إلى معاهدة عدم انتشار الأسلحة النووية للانضمام إلى هذه المفاوضات.

(a) States parties agree to undertake the preparatory process to explore the legal, technical and political elements required for a nuclear weapons Convention or a framework of instruments; and (b) States parties agree to commence multilateral negotiations leading to the conclusion of a nuclear weapons convention and invite those States that have not acceded to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons to join in such negotiations.
(أ) أن توافق الدول الأطراف على القيام بالخطوات التحضيرية لاستكشاف العناصر القانونية والتقنية والسياسية اللازمة لاتفاقية للأسلحة النووية أو إطار صكوك بشأن الأسلحة النووية؛ و (ب) أن توافق الدول الأطراف على الشروع في مفاوضات متعددة الأطراف تُفضي إلى إبرام اتفاقية للأسلحة النووية وتدعو الدول التي لم تنضم بعد إلى معاهدة عدم انتشار الأسلحة النووية للانضمام إلى هذه المفاوضات.
