In light of article 7 of the Convention, the Committee urges the State party to strengthen its efforts to reform its civil registration system to ensure that all children are registered at birth including through review of the existing registration system, awarenessraising campaigns, and to consider facilitating procedures of birth registration through mobile units for remote areas.
