The international community has asked that more be done to strengthen the capacity of the United Nations to provide humanitarian assistance, through coordinated planning and implementation involving the Departments of Political Affairs, Peace-keeping Operations and Humanitarian Affairs, and that humanitarian concerns should be reflected in fact-finding missions and in peace-keeping operations.

Within the United Nations Secretariat, a high-level interdepartmental working group on public information in peace-keeping and other field missions has been established which draws together representatives of the Department with members of the Departments of Political Affairs, Peace-keeping Operations and Humanitarian Affairs.
١٣٧ - وأنشئ، داخــل اﻷمــانة العامة لﻷمم المتحدة، فريق عامل رفيع المستوى مشترك بين اﻹدارات معني باﻹعلام في بعثات حفظ السلام وسائر البعثات الميدانية، ويضم ممثلي اﻹدارة وأعضاء إدارات الشؤون السياسية وعمليات حفظ السلام والشؤون اﻹنسانية.

22. The Security Council and the General Assembly asked that more be done to strengthen the capacity of the United Nations for humanitarian assistance through coordinated planning and implementation involving the Departments of Political Affairs, Peace-keeping Operations and Humanitarian Affairs.
٢٢ - وطلب مجلس اﻷمن والجمعية العامة زيادة ما يُبذل من جهد لتعزيز قدرة اﻷمم المتحدة على تقديم المساعدة الانسانية عن طريق تخطيط وتنفيذ منسقين يشملان إدارات الشؤون السياسية وعمليات حفظ السلم والشؤون الانسانية.

During its review of the report of the Secretary-General on the mobility framework (A/69/190/Add.1), the Advisory Committee was informed, upon enquiry, that a second round of this pilot project had been launched by the heads of the Departments of Political Affairs, Peacekeeping Operations and Field Support in March 2014 across all peacekeeping operations and special political missions.
٨٦ - وخلال استعراض تقرير الأمين العام بشأن إطار التنقل (A/69/190/Add.1)، أُبلغت اللجنة الاستشارية بناء على استفسار منها، أن رؤساء إدارات الشؤون السياسية وعمليات حفظ السلام والدعم الميداني قد أطلقوا الجولة الثانية من هذا المشروع التجريبي في آذار/مارس 2014 في جميع عمليات حفظ السلام والبعثات السياسية الخاصة.

One such activity is a joint evaluation of the start-up of UNSMIL by the Departments of Political Affairs, Peacekeeping Operations and Field Support produced in May 2013, in order to identify the challenges faced by the mission during its first months of operations and explore opportunities to better support the start-up of special political missions (A/69/363, para. 50).
