The UNCAC requirements for the management of public finances include procedures for the adoption of the national budget; timely reporting on revenue and expenditure; accounting, auditing and oversight; risk management and internal control systems; and measures to preserve the integrity of relevant documentation.

Under the topic of exchange of information and experience among States on preventive measures and practices, the Working Group discussed the experiences by States in the areas of preventing corruption in management of public finances, public administration and the public sector in general.
7- وفي إطار موضوع تبادل المعلومات والخبرات فيما بين الدول الأعضاء بشأن التدابير والممارسات الوقائية ناقش الفريق العامل ما اكتسبته الدول من خبرات في مجالات منع الفساد في إدارة الأموال العمومية والإدارة العمومية والقطاع العام إجمالاً.

The Chair noted that, according to the workplan, the topics for the sixth intersessional meeting of the Working Group were measures to prevent money-laundering (article 14 of the Convention) and integrity in public procurement processes, public reporting and transparency and accountability in the management of public finances (articles 9 and 10 of the Convention).

The handbook provides an account of public financial management across the region.
10- وأصدرت إدارة الأمم المتحدة للشؤون الاقتصادية والاجتماعية وبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي في عام 2004 دليلا عنوانه " الشفافية والمساءلة في القطاع الحكومي في بلدان عربية مختارة: سياسات وممارسات " .() ويقدم هذا الدليل عرضا عن إدارة الأموال العمومية في المنطقة.

11. Conscious of the importance of a transparent and accountable financial management system to prevent corruption, the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) will conduct an e-learning course on " Combating Corruption in public financial management " in February and March 2011.
11- وسينظِّم معهد الأمم المتحدة للتدريب والبحث، إدراكا منه لأهمية وجود نظام للإدارة المالية يتسم بالشفافية والمساءلة من أجل منع الفساد، دورة تعلُّم إلكترونية بشأن " مكافحة الفساد في إدارة الأموال العمومية " في شباط/فبراير وآذار/مارس 2011.
