9. Developing country Parties which undertake nationally appropriate mitigation actions to reduce emissions from deforestation and forest degradation shall ensure that:

Article 8 (Reducing Emissions from deforestation and forest degradation in Parties included in Annex C)

The Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties shall define the relevant principles, modalities, rules and guidelines, in particular for verification, reporting and accountability for reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation in Parties included in Annex C.

8. Developed country Parties shall undertake measures to ensure that the import of forest products from developing countries Parties does not contribute to emissions from deforestation and forest degradation
8- تضطلع البلدان المتقدمة الأطراف بتدابير تكفل أن لا يؤدي استيراد منتجات حرجية من البلدان النامية الأطراف إلى انبعاثات ناتجة عن إزالة الأحراج وتردي الأحراج.

(b) such actions are permanent and do not result in an increase in emissions from deforestation and forest degradation at a later time;

4. The Conference of Parties serving as the assembly of Parties shall, in consultation with appropriate indigenous peoples' and local community organisations, develop guidelines to ensure that the rights of indigenous peoples and local communities are not adversely affected by actions to reduce emissions from deforestation and forest degradation.
4- يضع مؤتمر الأطراف العامل بوصفه جمعية الأطراف، بالتشاور مع المنظمات المناسبة للشعوب الأصلية والمجتمعات المحلية، مبادئ توجيهية لضمان أن لا تتأثر حقوق الشعوب الأصلية والمجتمعات المحلية سلباً بفعل الإجراءات الرامية إلى خفض الانبعاثات الناتجة عن إزالة الأحراج وتردي الأحراج.

Decides to adopt decisions on the modalities and guidelines for the trading of [names of units generated from sectoral crediting, sectoral trading and reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation in developing countries (REDD) mechanisms] as soon as possible.
46- يقرر اعتماد مقررات بشأن طرائق ومبادئ توجيهية للاتجار ﺑ [أسماء الوحدات المولدة من تسجيل الأرصدة القطاعية الدائنة، والاتجار القطاعي، وآليات خفض الانبعاثات الناجمة عن إزالة الأحراج وتردي الأحراج في البلدان النامية]، وذلك في أقرب وقت ممكن.

Consider the synergy between adaptation and mitigation measures, including those within which options concerning reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation in developing countries (REDD) are particularly relevant;
(ﻫ) تراعي التآزر بين تدابير التكيف والتخفيف، بما فيها التدابير التي تُعد في إطارها الخيارات المتعلقة بتخفيض الانبعاثات الناشئة عن إزالة الأحراج وتردي الأحراج في البلدان النامية خيارات وجيهة بصفة خاصة؛

15. Developing country Parties who wish to undertake Tier 2 nationally appropriate mitigation actions associated with reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation shall by guided by good practice guidance developed by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and any relevant decisions of the Conference of Parties serving as the assembly of Parties.
