2.3 The Contractor, by notice to the Authority, shall have the right at any time to renounce without penalty the whole or part of its rights in the exploration area, provided that the Contractor shall remain liable for all obligations accrued prior to the date of such renunciation in respect of the area renounced.
٢-٣ يحق للمتعاقد في أي وقت أن يتنازل، بموجب إشعار يقدمه للسلطة، ودونما جزاء، عن كامل حقوقه في قطاع الاستكشاف أو جزء منها، شريطة أن يظل المتعاقد مسؤولا عن جميع الالتزامات الناشئة قبل تاريخ التنازل فيما يتعلق بالقطاع المتنازل عنه.

Recesses of not to exceed seven (7) days may be agreed upon by the senior members of both sides; provided, that such recesses may be terminated on twenty-four (24) hour notice by the senior member of either side.
ويجوز للعضوين اﻷعلى رتبة من الجانبين الاتفاق على إجازات لا تتجاوز سبعة )٧( أيام، شريطة أنه يجوز إنهاء هذه اﻹجازات بناء على إشعار يقدمه العضو اﻷعلى رتبة من أي من الجانبين قبل أربع وعشرين )٢٤( ساعة.
