• restructuring and revitalization of the Institute

In resolution 54/229, the General Assembly is very explicit in its call for financial assistance to UNITAR, while recognizing the quality of its recent performance, asking the Member States to consider resuming their voluntary contributions in view of the successful restructuring and revitalization of the Institute.
وفي القرار 54/229، كانت الجمعية العامة صريحة جـدا في دعوتها إلى تقديم المساعدة المالية إلى المعهد، مع إقرارها بجودة أدائه في الآونة الأخيرة، وحثها الدول الأعضاء التي أوقفت تبرعاتها على النظر في استئنافها بالنظر إلى النجاح الذي تحقق في إعادة تشكيل المعهد وتنشيطه.

“5. Renews its appeal to all Governments and to private institutions that have not yet contributed financially or otherwise to the Institute to give it their generous financial and other support, and urges the States that interrupted their voluntary contributions to consider resuming them in the light of the successful restructuring and revitalization of the Institute and increased participation in the training programmes;
