(v) Despite the unanimous support for the amendment to Article 1, only 48 States have so far deposited with the UN Secretary-General their instruments of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession;

In respect of such States the Convention will enter into force on the first day of the month following the expiration of six months after the date of the deposit of their instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.

2. For each State ratifying, accepting, approving or acceding to the Convention after the date of deposit of the _ instrument of ratification, acceptance or approval, the Convention shall enter into force on the thirtieth day after the deposit by such State of its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.
٢ - بالنسبة لكل دولة تصدق أو توافق على هذه الاتفاقية أو تقرها أو تنضم إليها بعد تاريخ إيداع صك التصديق أو الموافقة أو اﻹقرار ـ، يبدأ نفاذ الاتفاقية اعتبارا من اليوم الثلاثين من تاريخ إيداع تلك الدولة لصك تصديقها أو موافقتها أو إقرارها أو انضمامها.

4. For any Government that deposits its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession after the entry into force of this Instrument, it shall enter into force for that Government on the date of such deposit.
4- أي حكومة تودع وثيقة تصديقها أو قبولها أو إقرارها أو انضمامها بعد بدء نفاذ هذا الصك، يبدأ نفاذه بالنسبة لتلك الحكومة في تاريخ هذا الايداع.

3. In its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession, a regional economic integration organization shall declare the extent of its competence in respect of the matters governed by this Convention.
3 - تُعلن أي منظمة إقليمية للتكامل الاقتصادي في صكوك تصديقها أو قبولها أو إقرارها أو انضمامها مدى اختصاصها بالمسائل التي تنظمها هذه الاتفاقية.

4. Each State or regional economic integration organization is encouraged to transmit to the Secretariat at the time of its ratification, acceptance, approval or accession of the Convention information on its measures to implement the Convention.
4 - تُشَجَّع كل دولة أو منظمة إقليمية للتكامل الاقتصادي على أن تحيل إلى الأمانة وقت تصديقها أو قبولها أو إقرارها أو انضمامها للاتفاقية معلومات عن تدابيرها لتنفيذ الاتفاقية.

For each State that ratifies, accepts or approves the Convention or accedes thereto after the deposit of the fiftieth instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession, the Convention enters into force on the ninetieth day after the date of deposit with the Depositary of its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.

For any Government which has not notified the depositary under article 40 that it will apply this Agreement provisionally and which deposits its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession after the entry into force of this Agreement, this Agreement shall enter into force on the date of such deposit.
4- يبدأ نفاذ هذا الاتفاق، بالنسبة لأي حكومة لم تقم بإشعار الوديع بمقتضى المادة 40 بأنها ستطبق هذا الاتفاق بصفة مؤقتة وتقوم بإيداع صك تصديقها عليه أو قبولها أو إقرارها أو انضمامها له بعد بدء نفاذ هذا الاتفاق، في تاريخ الإيداع المذكور.

The Working Group agreed to retain the text in paragraph 2 and include the term " at any time " instead of " at the time of the deposit of its instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession " .

56. Several international treaties, including uniform law treaties such as the United Nations Sales Convention, generally authorize Contracting States to submit declarations only at the time of the deposit of their instrument of ratification, acceptance, approval or accession.
