Articles 37-45 of the Treaty regulate the rights and obligations of individuals belonging to non-Muslim minorities in Turkey.

(12) The Committee notes that according to Turkish law, only Turkish citizens belonging to non-Muslim minorities under the Treaty of Lausanne of 1923 fall within the scope of the term " minority " , and that the Treaty is applied restrictively only to the Armenian, Greek and Jewish communities.
(12) وتحيط اللجنة علماً بأن القانون التركي ينص على أن المواطنين الأتراك المنتمين إلى أقليات غير مسلمة وفقاً لمعاهدة لوزان المبرمة في عام 1923 هم الذين يُشملون وحدهم في نطاق عبارة " الأقلية " ، وأن المعاهدة لا تسري إلاَّ على الطوائف الأرمنية واليونانية واليهودية.

26- وأعربت لجنة القضاء على التمييز العنصري عن قلقها إزاء الادعاءات بوجود مواقف عدائية مستمرة من جانب الجمهور بشكل عام، بما في ذلك الاعتداءات والتهديدات، إزاء جماعة الروما، والأكراد والأشخاص الذين ينتمون إلى أقليات غير مسلمة.

77. In addition to the regulations with regard to the Turkish citizens belonging to non-Muslim minorities as stipulated in the Lausanne Peace Treaty (1923), legislative and administrative revision has been carried out as to the freedom of religion of all citizens and foreigners residing in Turkey.
77- وبالإضافة إلى القواعد التنظيمية الخاصة بالمواطنين الأتراك المنتمين إلى أقليات غير مسلمة والمنصوص عليها في معاهدة لوزان للسلام (1923)، أُجريت تنقيحات تشريعية وإدارية لضمان حرية الدين لجميع المواطنين والأجانب المقيمين في تركيا.
