35. Further requests the Global Mechanism to collect and disseminate information on financing opportunities and modalities of access to these funds and success stories and information on best practices on resource mobilization to enhance cooperation, including South-South cooperation, and to promote the exchange of experience among affected country Parties.
35- يطلب كذلك إلى الآلية العالمية أن تقوم بجمع ونشر معلومات عن فرص التمويل وأساليب الحصول على هذه الأموال وتجارب النجاح والمعلومات المتعلقة بأفضل الممارسات بشأن تعبئة الموارد لتعزيز التعاون، بما فيه التعاون بين بلدان الجنوب، والتشجيع على تبادل الخبرات فيما بين البلدان الأطراف المتأثرة.

24. In addition to this, by its decision 5/COP.6, the COP requested the GM to report to COP 7 on progress made in carrying out the activities set forth in decision 5/COP.6.

53. In paragraph 2 of decision 6/COP.9, the COP requested the GM to prepare, in consultation with the secretariat and the Parties, detailed regional work programmes, which will reflect the priorities defined by the regions; these are to be prepared within available resources and submitted to COP sessions for consideration.

20. Although successive COP decisions have enjoined the GM to work in close cooperation with the Secretariat, these subsidiary bodies have not yet established any systemic or institutional relations beyond the minimum requirements established through joint reporting obligations.
20- رغم أن المقررات المتتالية الصادرة عن مؤتمر الأطراف أوعزت إلى الآلية العالمية أن تعمل في إطار تعاون وثيق مع الأمانة، لم تُقم هاتان الهيئتان الفرعيتان حتى الآن أية علاقات منهجية أو مؤسسية تتجاوز المتطلبات الدنيا التي تقتضيها التزامات الإبلاغ المشترك.

Request the GM to strengthen its capacity to explore new and innovative sources of finance, financing instruments and mechanisms that can be applied to address the concerns of the Convention;

Request the GM to support and substantiate the resource mobilization efforts made by country Parties by collecting, generating and disseminating specialized knowledge that is instrumental to resource mobilization, including:

6. Also requests the GM to prepare and submit for consideration at the intersessional sessions of the CRIC, for onward transmission to the COP a compilation of data and information on the financial resources mobilized and technology transferred.

3. Further requests the Global Mechanism to continue to provide support to affected countries in mainstreaming national action programmes (NAPs) into national development frameworks, such as Poverty Reduction Strategy Papers (PRSP);
