والتمست الجمعية مساهمات مالية للجامعة، ودعت الدول اﻷعضاء إلى الانضمام إلى الاتفاق الدولي ﻹنشاء جامعة السلم، وطلبت إلى اﻷمين العام النظر في سبل تعزيز التعاون بين اﻷمم المتحدة وجامعة السلم.

By paragraph 3, the Assembly invites Member States to accede to the International Agreement for the Establishment of the University for Peace, thereby demonstrating their support for a global peace studies institution whose mandate is the promotion of a global culture of peace.
وبمقتضى الفقرة ٣، تدعو الجمعية العامة الدول اﻷعضاء إلى الانضمام إلى الاتفاق الدولي ﻹنشاء جامعة السلم، مدللة بذلك على دعمها لمؤسسة عالمية لدراسات السلم، تتمثل مهمتها في ترويج ثقافة عالمية للسلم.

٣ - تدعو أيضا الدول اﻷعضاء إلى الانضمام إلى الاتفاق الدولي لانشاء جامعة السلم، مدللة بذلك على تأييدها لمؤسسة عالمية لدراسات السلم، تتمثل مهمتها في توطيد السلم العالمي؛

The Assembly invited Member States to accede to the International Agreement for the Establishment of the University for Peace (see resolution 35/55, annex) and requested the Secretary-General to consider using the services of the University in his conflict-resolution and peace-building efforts and in the promotion of the Declaration and Programme of Action on a Culture of Peace.
ودعت الجمعية الدول الأعضاء إلى الانضمام إلى الاتفاق الدولي لإنشاء جامعة السلام (انظر القرار 35/55، المرفق) وطلبت إلى الأمين العام أن ينظر في إمكانية الاستعانة بخدمات الجامعة فيما يبذله من جهود من أجل حل النزاعات وبناء السلام وفي الترويج لإعلان وبرنامج العمل بشأن ثقافة السلام.

ودعت الجمعية العامة الدول الأعضاء والهيئات الحكومية الدولية والمنظمات غير الحكومية والأشخاص المهتمين بالأمر إلى تقديم الدعم المالي إلى الجامعة، ودعت الدول الأعضاء إلى الانضمام إلى الاتفاق الدولي لإنشاء جامعة السلام، وطلبت إلى الأمين العام أن يدرس مزيدا من السبل لتعزيز التعاون بين الأمم المتحدة وجامعة السلام.
