To that end, the Secretary-General was requested to seek the views of the Member States on the notion of human security, including on a possible definition thereof, and to submit a report to the Assembly at its sixty-sixth session.

The Assembly reaffirmed its strong support for the role of the Centre in the promotion of United Nations activities at the regional level to strengthen peace, stability and security in the Asia-Pacific region, and requested the Secretary-General to report to the Assembly at its sixty-sixth session on the implementation of the resolution.
وأعادت الجمعية تأكيد دعمها القوي لدور المركز في النهوض بأنشطة الأمم المتحدة على الصعيد الإقليمي من أجل تعزيز السلام والاستقرار والأمن في منطقة آسيا والمحيط الهادئ، وطلبت إلى الأمين العام أن يقدم إلى الجمعية في دورتها السادسة والستين تقريرا عن تنفيذ هذا القرار.

2. In its resolution 64/154, the General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to submit to the Assembly, at its sixty-sixth session, a report on the status of the Convention and the Optional Protocol thereto, and on the implementation of the resolution.

By section III of its resolution 64/260, the General Assembly extended these arrangements for the biennium 2010-2011 and requested the Secretary-General to submit a comprehensive report to the Assembly at its sixty-sixth session, fully addressing the requests made by the Assembly in section III, paragraphs 10 (a) to (d), of resolution 60/283.
