8. States Parties shall consider making voluntary contributions to the Centre for International Crime Prevention for the purpose of fostering, through the Centre, programmes and projects in developing countries with a view to implementing this Convention.
8- تنظر الدول الأطراف في تقديم تبرعات إلى المركز المعني بمنع الإجرام الدولي بغرض القيام، من خلال المركز، بتعزيز البرامج والمشاريع المضطلع بها في البلدان النامية بهدف تنفيذ هذه الاتفاقية.

وإذ يدرك التزايد المستمر في طلبات الحصول على المساعدة التقنية الموجهة إلى المركز المعني بمنع الاجرام الدولي التابع لمكتب مراقبة المخدرات ومنع الجريمة التابع للأمانة العامة من جانب أقل البلدان نموا والبلدان النامية والبلدان التي تمر اقتصاداتها بمرحلة انتقالية والبلدان الخارجة من أتون الصراعات،

In the wake of the attacks of 11 September 2001, additional mandates were given to the Centre for International Crime Prevention for activities related to the prevention of terrorism (see General Assembly resolutions 56/88 of 12 December 2001, 56/123 of 19 December 2001 and 56/261 of 31 January 2002).
11- في أعقاب هجمات 11 أيلول/سبتمبر 2001، أسندت إلى المركز المعني بمنع الاجــرام الدولي ولايات اضافية لأنشطة تتعلق بمنع الارهاب (انظر قرارات الجمعية العامة 56/88 المؤرخ 12 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2001 و 56/123 المؤرخ 19 كانون الأول/ ديسمبر 2001 و 56/261 المؤرخ 31 كانون الثاني/يناير 2002).

2. In order to facilitate and improve the efficiency of the measures and mechanisms referred to in paragraph 1 of this article, each State Party shall designate a liaison officer or responsible central official whose name and functions shall be communicated, for registration and circulation to States Parties, to the Centre for International Crime Prevention.
2- من أجل تيسير وتحسين فعالية التدابير والآليات المذكورة في الفقرة 1 من هذه المادة، تقوم كل دولة طرف بتعيين موظف اتصال أو موظف مركزي مسؤول، يبلّغ اسمه ومهامه إلى المركز المعني بمنع الإجرام الدولي بغية تدوينها وتعميمها على الدول الأطراف.

7. States Parties shall make voluntary contributions to the Centre for International Crime Prevention for the purpose of fostering, through the Centre, programmes and projects in developing countries with a view to the implementation of this Convention.
7- على الدول الأطراف أن تقدم تبرعات إلى المركز المعني بمنع الاجرام الدولي بغرض القيام، من خلال المركز، بدعم البرامج والمشاريع المضطلع بها في البلدان النامية بهدف تنفيذ هذه الاتفاقية.()

(b) Promoting the full and effective participation of developing countries, in particular least developed countries, in the deliberations of the ad hoc committee; this may be done through the provision of extrabudgetary resources to the Centre for International Crime Prevention;
(ب) الترويج للمشاركة الكاملة والفعالة من جانب البلدان النامية، وخصوصا أقل البلدان نموا، في مداولات اللجنة المخصصة؛ ومن الجائز أن يكون القيام بذلك من خلال تقديم موارد من خارج إطار الميزانية إلى المركز المعني بمنع الإجرام الدولي؛
