The General Assembly requested the Secretary-General to continue to monitor the humanitarian situation in Tajikistan and to report to it at its fifty-third session on the progress made in the implementation of resolution 52/169 I. The present report covers the period from the adoption of the resolution to mid-August 1998.
٣ - وطلبت الجمعية العامة إلى اﻷمين العام أن يواصل رصد الحالة اﻹنسانية في طاجيكستان، وأن يقدم تقريرا إلى الجمعية العامة في دورتها الثالثة والخمسين عن التقدم المحرز في تنفيذ هذا القرار ٥٢/١٦٩ طاء. ويشمل هذا التقرير الفترة من تاريخ اعتماد القرار إلى منتصف آب/أغسطس ١٩٩٨.
