On 27 March 2009, the 1540 Committee provided to the Security Council a report on the modalities for such a review (see S/2009/170, annex).

2. Paragraph 10 of resolution 1810 (2008) states that the Committee should continue to intensify its efforts to promote the full implementation by all States of resolution 1540 (2004) and paragraph 14 states that the Committee will submit to the Security Council a report on compliance with resolution 1540 (2004) through the achievement of its requirements.

3. Decides also that the 1540 Committee shall conduct a comprehensive review on the status of implementation of resolution 1540 (2004), both after five years and prior to the renewal of its mandate, including, if necessary, recommendations on adjustments to the mandate, and that it shall submit to the Security Council a report on the conclusions of those reviews, and decides that, accordingly, the first review shall be held before December 2016;

17. Requests the Secretary-General to report to the Council on the implementation of this resolution by all parties in Syria, in particular paragraphs 2 through 12, in 30 days of its adoption and every 30 days thereafter, and upon receipt of the Secretary-General's report, expresses its intent to take further steps in the case of non-compliance with this resolution;
يطلب إلى الأمين العام أن يقدم إلى مجلس الأمن تقريرا عن تنفيذ جميع الأطراف في سورية لهذا القرار، ولا سيما الفقرات من 2 إلى 12، في غضون 30 يوما من اتخاذه وكل 30 يوما بعد ذلك، ويعرب عن اعتزامه بعد تلقي تقرير الأمين العام أن يتخذ مزيدا من الخطوات في حالة عدم الامتثال لهذا القرار؛

9. Canada fully supported the resolution of the IAEA Board of Governors requesting the IAEA Director General to report to the Security Council the assessment that an undeclared nuclear reactor existed at Dair Alzour, Syrian Arab Republic, in breach of its safeguards obligations.
9 - وأيدت كندا تأييداً كاملا قرار مجلس محافظي الوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية الذي طلب من المدير العام للوكالة أن يقدِّم إلى مجلس الأمن تقريرا عن تقييمها بشأن وجود مفاعل نووي غير معلن عنه في دير الزور بالجمهورية العربية السورية، في خرق لالتزامات الضمانات.

Such failure will be reported to the Security Council by the Executive Chairman of UNMOVIC or by the Director General of IAEA.
وسيقدم الرئيس التنفيذي للجنة الأمم المتحدة للرصد والتحقق والتفتيش أو المدير العام للوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية إلى مجلس الأمن تقريرا عن عدم وفاء العراق بالتزاماته تلك.
