12. In his report submitted to the Security Council on 10 July 1998 (S/1998/634), the Secretary-General informed the Council that, although the issue of how to proceed with the identification of members of tribal groupings H41, H61 and J51/52 was still impeding the completion of the identification process, the pace of the identification of other applicants had increased substantially during the months of June and July 1998.
