5. Reaffirms that United Nations visiting missions to the Territories at an appropriate time and in consultation with the administering Powers are an effective means of ascertaining the situation in the Territories, and requests the administering Powers and the elected representatives of the peoples of the Territories to assist the Special Committee in this regard;
5 - تؤكد من جديد أن إيفاد بعثات الأمم المتحدة الزائرة للأقاليم في الوقت الملائم بالتشاور مع الدول القائمة بالإدارة يُشكل وسيلة فعالة للتحقق من الحالة في الأقاليم، وتطلب إلى الدول القائمة بالإدارة وممثلي شعوب الأقاليم المنتخبين مساعدة اللجنة الخاصة في هذا الصدد؛

Throughout that period, the General Assembly reaffirmed that United Nations visiting missions are an effective means of ascertaining the situation in the Territories, as well as the wishes and aspirations of their inhabitants, and called upon the administering Powers to continue to cooperate with the Special Committee in the discharge of its mandate and to facilitate visiting missions to the Territories.
وطوال تلك الفترة، أكدت الجمعية العامة من جديد أن بعثات الأمم المتحدة الزائرة التي توفد إلى الأقاليم تعتبر وسيلة فعالة للوقوف على الوضع في الأقاليم، فضلا عن التعرف على رغبات سكانها وتطلعاتهم، وأهابت بالدول القائمة بالإدارة أن تواصل تعاونها مع اللجنة الخاصة في الاضطلاع بولايتها وأن تسهل إيفاد بعثات الأمم المتحدة الزائرة إلى الأقاليم.

6. 6 - تؤكد من جديد أن إيفاد بعثات الأمم المتحدة الزائرة للأقاليم في الوقت المناسب بالتشاور مع الدول القائمة بالإدارة، هو وسيلة فعالة للتحقق من أحوال الأقاليم، وتطلب إلى الدول القائمة بالإدارة وممثلي شعوب الأقاليم المنتخبين مساعدة اللجنة الخاصة في هذا الصدد؛

2. Calls upon the administering Powers that have not yet done so to cooperate or continue to cooperate with the United Nations by facilitating United Nations visiting missions to the Territories under their administration, in accordance with the relevant resolutions of the United Nations on decolonization;
2 - تطلب إلى الدول القائمة بالإدارة التي لم تفعل ذلك بعد أن تتعاون، أو تواصل التعاون، معالأمم المتحدة بتيسير إيفاد بعثات الأمم المتحدة الزائرة إلى الأقاليم الخاضعة لإدارتها، وفقا لقرارات الأمم المتحدة ذات الصلة المتعلقة بإنهاء الاستعمار؛
