Effective international cooperation is a key to effectively combating organized crime and it lies at the heart of the Organized Crime Convention and the Protocols thereto.
إذ إنّ التعاون الدولي الفعّال هو أداة أساسية لمكافحة الجريمة المنظّمة مكافحة فعّالة ويدخل في صميم اتفاقية الجريمة المنظمة والبروتوكولات الملحقة بها.

(i) Increased number of States parties ratifying the Organized Crime Convention and its Protocols with the assistance of UNODC
`1` زيادة عدد الدول الأطراف المصدقة على اتفاقية الجريمة المنظمة والبروتوكولات الملحقة بها بمساعدة المكتب

(a) Member States that have not signed, ratified or resourced the Organized Crime Convention and its three Protocols and the United Nations Convention against Corruption (General Assembly resolution 58/4, annex) should do so and all Member States should support the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in its work in that area (A/59/565 and Corr.1, para. 172);
(أ) ينبغي للدول الأعضاء التي لم توقّع أو تصدّق على اتفاقية الجريمة المنظمة والبروتوكولات الملحقة بها واتفاقية الأمم المتحدة لمكافحة الفساد (مرفق قرار الجمعية العامة 58/4)، أو توفر الموارد لها، أن تفعل ذلك، كما ينبغي لجميع الدول الأعضاء أن تدعم مكتب الأمم المتحدة المعني بالمخدرات والجريمة في ما يقوم به من عمل في هذا المجال (الفقرة 172 من الوثيقة A/59/565 وCorr.1)؛

ثالثا- تعزيز تدابير العدالة الجنائية للتصدي للجريمة المنظمة استنادا إلى اتفاقية الجريمة المنظمة والبروتوكولات الملحقة بها

Participants also requested the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and the League of Arab States to urge those Arab States that had not yet done so to ratify or accede to the Organized Crime Convention and the Protocols thereto.

Representatives of some of the States that had not yet become parties to the Organized Crime Convention and the Protocols thereto informed the Commission of the progress made towards the ratification of or accession to those legal instruments.
وقام ممثلو بعض الدول التي لم تصبح بعد أطرافا في اتفاقية الجريمة المنظمة والبروتوكولات الملحقة بها بإبلاغ اللجنة بما أحرز من تقدّم صوب التصديق على تلك الصكوك القانونية أو الانضمام إليها.
