One remarkable trend in this field relates to the adoption of substantive provision of the Electronic Communications Convention in national legislation without formal adoption of that treaty by the concerned country.
65- ويتصل أحد الاتجاهات الجديرة بالملاحظة في هذا المجال باعتماد الأحكام الموضوعية من اتفاقية الخطابات الإلكترونية في التشريعات الوطنية لدى بعض البلدان دون اعتماد للاتفاقية بصفة رسمية.

It was indicated that the adoption of the Electronic Communications Convention was particularly relevant to establish a uniform legal framework for electronic communications in light of possible differences in the enactments of UNCITRAL model laws at the national level.
44- وذُكر أنَّ اعتماد اتفاقية الخطابات الإلكترونية مفيد بوجه خاص لإنشاء إطار قانوني موحّد للخطابات الإلكترونية، نظرا لاحتمال وجود اختلافات في اشتراع قوانين الأونسيترال النموذجية على الصعيد الوطني.

35. It was suggested that functional equivalence rules in the draft provisions that included a reliability standard should be accompanied by a safeguard provision akin to article 9(3)(b)(ii) of the Electronic Communications Convention.
