2. The General Assembly called for urgent compliance with the legal obligations and the fulfilment of the commitments undertaken on nuclear disarmament and endorsed the wide support expressed at the high-level meeting for a comprehensive convention on nuclear weapons.
2 - ودعت الجمعية العامة إلى الامتثال على نحو عاجل للالتزامات القانونية وإلى الوفاء بالالتزامات المتعهد بها فيما يتعلق بنزع السلاح النووي، وأيدت الدعم المعرب عنه على نطاق واسع في الاجتماع الرفيع المستوى لوضع اتفاقية شاملة تتعلق بالأسلحة النووية.

Brazil sees elements contained in the Model Nuclear Weapons Convention, submitted by Costa Rica and Malaysia to the General Assembly in 2007 (A/62/650), as a good basis to begin discussions on a comprehensive convention on nuclear weapons.

(أ) التعجيل ببدء مفاوضات في مؤتمر نزع السلاح بهدف الإسراع بإبرام اتفاقية شاملة تتعلق بالأسلحة النووية لحظر امتلاكها واستحداثها وإنتاجها وحيازتها وتجريبها وتكديسها ونقلها واستخدامها أو التهديد باستخدامها، وتنص على تدميرها؛

In this regard, Brazil welcomed the holding of the General Assembly's highlevel meeting on nuclear disarmament in 2013 and the subsequent adoption of resolution 68/32, whose call for the urgent commencement of negotiations, in the Conference on Disarmament, for the early conclusion of a comprehensive convention on nuclear weapons coincides with Brazil's traditional position on the matter.
وفي هذا الصدد، ترحب البرازيل بعقد الجمعية العامة الاجتماع الرفيع المستوى المعني بنزع السلاح النووي في عام 2013، وما تلاه من اعتماد القرار 68/32، الذي تتطابق دعوته ببدء مفاوضات على نحو عاجل خلال مؤتمر نزع السلاح من أجل الإسراع بإبرام اتفاقية شاملة تتعلق بالأسلحة النووية مع الموقف التقليدي للبرازيل بشأن هذه المسألة.
