1. The signatories to this Agreement agree to the following principles, the procedures for the implementation of which are specified in the Arusha Peace and Reconciliation Agreement for Burundi:

2. Since the signing of the Arusha Peace and Reconciliation Agreement for Burundi on 28 August 2000, two issues have remained core concerns for the people of Burundi and all those who are closely following the progress of our peace process.
2 - منذ التوقيع على اتفاق أروشا للسلام والمصالحة في بوروندي يوم 28 آب/أغسطس 2000، ظلت مسألتان تشغلان بال البورونديين وجميع من يتتبعون عن كثب مسيرتنا على درب السلام.
